KICK is a learning pilot developed by Thryves within CYANOTYPES, a European initiative focused on future-relevant competences for the Cultural and Creative Industries.
Across five sessions, creative women explore what AI can make possible, test it through a real challenge from their own creative practice and learn to evaluate its outputs critically. They also identify what information they need to protect, which values guide their decisions and what should remain under their creative control.
KICK is not about mastering AI tools. It is about building the confidence and judgement to decide where AI can support your work, where caution is needed and where it does not belong.
KICK helps creative women develop the digital confidence, critical judgement and creative agency to navigate AI on their own terms.
A five-session pilot for creative women who want to understand AI,
experiment safely and decide how it belongs in their creative practice.
WHAT IS KICK

WHO IT IS FOR
You do not need to feel ready
You can enter KICK from curiosity hesitation, criticism, or a desire to test something real for your creative practice.

WHAT CHANGES
You leave with more than a better prompt
KICK helps you move from uncertainty to informed decisions about where AI belongs in your creative practice.
You gain the confidence to test, question and choose, not simply accept.
The CYANOTYPES Competence Framework
WHAT DO YOU DEVELOP
KICK uses the CYANOTYPES Competence Framework to strengthen the capabilities creative professionals need in a changing digital landscape. Rather than teaching AI as a collection of tools, the programme helps you build confidence, make informed choices and protect your creative voice.
Explore the seven competences you will develop through KICK.
HOW DOES KICK WORK?
KICK is a five-session learning journey combining practical experimentation, reflection and discussion. Each session helps you explore AI in relation to your own creative practice and make informed choices about how technology fits into your work.
